If for some reason a pupil cannot observe these regulations, he/she must report to the Principal's office first thing in the morning with a note from his /her parent to obtain sanction for an irregular dress. Parents of children incorrectly dressed without notes, will be phoned and requested to bring the appropriate uniform to school. All uniforms must be named clearly in indelible ink. School shoes must be worn. Tackies are only acceptable as sports footwear on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Buffalo / Caterpillar / Doc Martin boots are not allowed. It is compulsory to wear sports kit for P.E. lessons, all extra mural sports activities and team matches.  Uniforms In the winter chill, the children tend to pile on all and sundry items to brave the cold. Earrings: Only girls may wear studs / sleepers - one in each ear. Chains: Boys and Girls may wear a Crucifix / Star of David / St. Christopher pendant on a chain underneath their school shirt. No other chains or pendants are accepted.  Hair Girls: All hair should be neat and clean. Long hair is to be tied back. Hair accessories should be green / white or black in colour. Boys: Clean and Neat hair with hair off the collar and out of the eyes please.  Protection From The Sun Bellavista hats or caps only may be worn and children are encouraged to wear these during break, P.E. and sport practice. Sunscreen: children are encouraged to bring their own and to keep a tube in their bag.
