In the Classroom

 Grade Three's
This term the Grade Three’s have been busy learning about the Measurement of Length and how we can use different tools to measure parts of our bodies, our height and our surroundings. We have had many interesting, measurement experiences so far with our friends, such as, measuring our thumbs, the circumference of our head and painting footprints and handprints, which we have measured carefully. We have even measured how far Mrs. Scott’s office is from our classroom – so next time we receive a Principals Award we will know the length of our journey…

This term the Grade Three’s have also started learning Afrikaans. They are very excited to speak in another language. They really enjoyed playing a game with the new words they have learnt.
